Patrick Knight is an attorney with Victor Rams & Associates in Miami.  Over the last ten years, Mr. Knight has tried over 70 cases to jury verdict in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, including dental malpractice, products liability, funeral home negligence, premises liability and automobile cases. Handling all aspects of insurance defense litigation, Mr. Knight regularly attends mediations, arbitrations and expert depositions in addition to the numerous trials and evidentiary hearings. In 2005, he was one of the youngest Florida attorneys ever to pass the Board Certification exam for civil trial lawyers.

In the scope of his representation of various clients, Mr. Knight has attained a vast and unique knowledge base about the inner workings of his corporate and insurance clients. Featured Speaker / Presenter
As a featured speaker and presenter, Mr. Knight has given keynotes and taught over 300 seminars in nineteen states and twenty-five foreign countries on a variety of legal, business, management skills and leadership topics. He is a Certified International Trainer through JCI Training Institute. Mr. Knight has spoken before as many as 1,000 people in a conference and trained as few as six participants in focused workshop. In addition to the dynamic energy he brings to the seminars, Mr. Knight is unique in that his seminars not only offer theory, but also practical tips that can be immediately applied by the participant. In most seminars, attendees will find that there is considerable interaction, often with the participants practicing the learning points right after they are discussed.

Involvement with Jr. Chamber of Commerce
Mr. Knight is a former National Legal Counsel for the United States Jr. Chamber of Commerce and a past President of the Coconut Grove Jr. Chamber of Commerce in Miami. The Junior Chamber is a leadership organization dedicated to giving young professionals the skills needed to make positive change as a leader in their companies and in the community. As a local Jaycee President in both 2001 and 2002, Mr. Knight revitalized the organization leading the chapter to be recognized as the Most Outstanding Jr. Chamber of Commerce in the United States in both years. In 2002, it was recognized as one of the three best Jr. Chambers of Commerce in the world out of 5,700+ chambers. Patrick has also organized two large scale leadership conferences in Miami and Atlanta to attract professionals interested in leadership development.

Other Organizations
Patrick has held leadership positions and has been involved with many other organizations, as well.  He has been an International Officer for JCI – Worldwide Federation of Leaders and Entrepreneurs.  Patrick was the Chairman of the Grove Bed Races from 2003 – 2005.  He served on the Board of Directors for Summer Fun for Kids (2003-2004). He has been involved with Easter Seals, Miami Council for International Visitors, Hands on Miami, Miami Heart Research Institute, University of Illinois Business Mentoring Program, Miami-Dade County Bar Association and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
